Welcome to Choices

Choices Educational Center provides individualized education for K-12 students who are not thriving or experiencing success in a traditional setting. Choices provides alternative programs to meet the needs of each student based on innovative paths, digital learning and other alternative means. The goal is to provide rich and challenging learning environments that promote high levels of student engagement, achievement and success.  

Choices Educational Center is dedicated to academic excellence, curricular innovation, parental support and community involvement. Students learn how to learn and be productive, as well as how to get along with peers and adults. 

Olivia Burr Wins 2008 Kentucky Education Association Lucy Harth Smith-Atwood S. Wilson Award
Congratulations to Ms. Olivia Burr, Paducah Public Schools’ Social Worker/Counselor/Grant Coordinator (McNabb and CHOICES), who was awarded the 2008 KEA Lucy Harth Smith-Atwood S. Wilson Award on Thursday, April 10th, 2008 at the annual Smith-Wilson Breakfast Ceremony in Louisville.
Congratulations To Our Mid-Year Graduates

Mid-year graduates Nicolas Lowe and Josh Williams  (left-to-right) were recognized and received their diplomas at the District Board Meeting on April 21, 2008.  Mr. Lowe and Mr. Williams partcipated in the Credit Recovery Program, which allows at-risk students to recover the credits needed to graduate.
