Lunch was provided to the Policy Council at Kirchoff’s. The meeting was called to order at 12 noon by Chairman, Hooper.

Julie Hart made the motion to accept and approve the minutes from the last meeting. The motion was seconded by Bill Adams. Vote was taken, motion carried.

Director’s Report –

Grant application was mailed to Regional Office on May 25, 2012.

Personnel Issues – Resignation of Bobbie Harwood, Family advocate and Andrea Cramner, Bus Monitor – Jason Kovatch made the motion to accept these resignations. Rhonda Cook seconded. Vote was taken motion carried.

Federal Review – The team leader debriefed each day. Out of 97 children’s files reviewed, all 97 were perfect. The only issue with our program was with the “fiscal house”. We will receive the official report in two to four months.

Annual Report Card – After review of this document, Julie Hart made the motion to approve it. Rhonda Cook seconded. Vote was taken, motion carried.

Cindy Rodgers, Family Services Manager, reviewed the information in the Family Outcomes and Parent Involvement Plan.

The MUNIS Budget Report was reviewed by the Director. Rhonda Cook made the motion to approve the MUNIS report. Bill Adams seconded. Vote was taken, motion carried.

We are trying to obtain information about security options for the Morgan Playground. The Director is working with Troy Brock, Facilities Director.

The Head Start office will be closed from July 20 through July 10

Policy Council will not meet in July.
