Clark Students Honored For Duck Stamp Entries PDF Print E-mail

Seven Clark Elementary students have been honored for the artwork they submitted to Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Junior Duck Stamp art contest. All of Clark's entries earned awards out of the 1,113 pieces of art submitted.

The Junior Duck Stamp (JDS) is a pictorial stamp produced by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to recognize the conservation efforts of young people and support environmental and conservation education programs in the United States.  The first place national winner of the art contest graces that year's JDS and is sold by the U.S. Postal Service.

Madelyn Ybarzabal-  Honorable Mention
Austin Yarbrough- Honorable Mention
Kathlyn Panor- Third Place
