Paducah’s Winter Storm ‘09

By Kamar Ali Jackson

Mrs. York's 4th Grade

I remember that bad storm-

We had ice all over the place

It reminded me of a skating ring,

But no fun for anyone.

The power lines were in the road,

The trees went crack then lay down.

My house was very cold;

It was dark like a cave.

We went to a hotel for two days,

I was so bored me and my sister couldn’t play.

Time crept by like a turtle.

I think somebody does not like Paducah.
