Under the Category field, make sure to select overall problem category you're having at your building. CategoryQueue.jpg 7. For tickets of 'Computer Issue' category, select the computer type next (i.e. 'Staff workstation'). Pc type.jpg 8. Next, you need to select a more specific problem type. Prob type.jpg 9. Under the ‘Comments:’ box, type in a detailed description of the problem or request. Be as detailed as possible. 10. Under the ‘Room’ field, put the room where the problem is or the request is being made for. NOTE: The ‘Room’ field will not show up until you select your school and category. This is by design. 11. Lastly, click the ‘Submit’ button to send it on its way. The system will email you to let you know that the ticket has been created. 12. To check tickets that you’ve created at a later time, log back onto the district web site. 13. Click on ‘Technology Support Requests’ again and you can view your tickets. 14. You can sort by ID, Section+Category, Title, Last Modified time, Created time, and status by clicking on the appropriate link. Sort.jpg 15. You may also choose to view only your open tickets or all tickets. View.jpg 16. Now, to open and view details of a particular ticket, click on the ticket in the list. Alltickets.jpg 17. The details of the ticket will open. Singleticketview.jpg 18. You can choose to add more details about the ticket in the form of a comment. “Add Comment” is the link to click for this. 19. You also have a navigation button to switch from one ticket to the next in the upper right hand corner. Backbtn.jpg 20. Various details about the ticket can be read on the right-hand side of the screen as shown above. 21. To close out a ticket when completed, click on one of the Feedback buttons at the bottom. Both the technology department and you as the ticket creator can choose to close a ticket. Closeticket.jpg 22. Click on the button that best describes your satisfaction with the quality of the service.

That’s it. You’ve successfully run through the new Billets work order system. It’s been created to be very simple and fast. In the future, we may add new features to it as time passes.
